Department Secretary

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Arrange meetings and business trips
  • Handle expense claims, typing and filing
  • Update annual leave records and staff plan for the department
  • Assist in organising social events within the department
  • Manage new joiner arrangements
  • Assist in ad hoc projects
  • Provide secretarial cover to other departments as required

Experience

  • F.5 graduate or above with formal secretarial training with a minimum of five years' experience
  • A good team player with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff
  • Good typing and computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word
  • Good spoken English and Cantonese is essential, and a knowledge of Mandarin is desirable
